As is common in this part of Cornwall, I inherited the electrics of an old farmhouse that clearly needed some attention. Having had a go myself and only succeeded in making matters worse, I used Colston Electrics to make my house safe, and resolve the many oddities that existed. I was very impressed with both the standard of the work, and the innovative approach that was used to minimise the disruption. I would recommend this company highly and in a world where there are a lot of cowboys out there, its good to find a true professional.

I had the pleasure of employing Mr Jones of Colston Electric to sort out the electrical wiring on an old and complicated house where various improvisations, not to say botches, have been made in the past leading to frequent electrical problems and unreliability.

Mr Jones is very easy to get on with and brings with him intelligence, logistical skills, attention to detail, reliability and strong accountability. It may be worth mentioning that he also spotted and rectified a serious drainage problem for us, although this was outside of his brief.
